Artist's Comments

Made from scratch, and my blood sweat and tears.
This project was based on that theme of 'Memories'.

I based it on the story of my family, in a nutshell. All the pictures are family members and all the pieces of text are letters, poems etc mostly written by my family members. My family from the futhest back to the current are vaguely laid out in order from the left to right.

It has no boning, and laces up at the back.

From scratch... I sort of sketched a pattern but it didn't really work so I just adjusted it as I went along.

And it took longer than I can remember... It was an ongoing project that I haven't been counting (that might make me cry!)... depends on how much detail you want I suppose! thanks for commenting :rose:

Not a problem. I love it. I'm actually going to embark on making my own corset sooner or later, so it's interesting to see how other people go about making theirs.
