What would I give
To live where you are? What would I pay To stay here beside you? What would I do to see you Smiling at me? Where would we walk? Where would we run? If we could stay all day in the sun? Just you and me And I could be Part of your world I don't know when I don't know how But I know something's starting right now Watch and you'll see Some day I'll be Part of your world From Disneys' The Little Mermaid Inspired by the story 'The Little Mermaid' By Hans Christian Andersen. This is a mixture of different versions... The Disney film inspired the voice being kept in a locket, but I always loved the sadness of the real ending. In Andersen's original version, the prince does not return the mermaid's love and marries another, who he believes saved him. The mermaid is given the opportunity to kill the prince and his bride and return to the sea with her sisters, but she cannot bring herself to do it and so throws herself into the ocean, where she becomes part of the watery foam. Why do I like sadness? Well this quote from Dr Who sums it up for me: "What's good about 'sad'?" "It's happy for deep people." --- Thanks for the beautiful Stock: *demoncherrystock/*LongStock/~EternalStock/*PirateQueen-Stock/`spiritsighs/*blueeyedmagickman |

"Deep within the winter forest among the snowdrift wide
You can find a magic place where all the fairies hide...."

Once upon a time...
I ripped the wings from my spine
But when I hide inside your eyes
I still pretend that I can fly...
Art isn't about perfection. It's about expression.
